Dr. L Venkatakrishnan

Dr. L Venkatakrishnan is a well-known Gastroenterologist from Coimbatore in Kerala. He is currently working as Professor of Department of Gastroenterology & Liver Unit of PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research. 

An alumnus of Stanley Medical College, Dr.  L Venkatakrishnan has completed DM in Gastroenterology from Christian Medical College in Vellore. He also has DNB degree in Gastroenterology which he pursued from National Board Examinations, Delhi. Dr. L Venkatakrishnan has worked as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Registrar of Department of Gastroenterology at PVS Memorial Hospital in Cochin and, Christian Medical College Hospital in Vellore, and an Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology at PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research. He also held position of an Associate Professor of Gastroenterology at PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research. He has 25 years of rich experience in teaching the undergraduates, internal medicine post graduates and DM post graduates during training in Gastroenterology.

He has presented lectures on 'Update on GI Bleeding' at State IMA Annual Conference 2002 June held in Ooty, and 'Endotherapy of Corrosive Strictures' at ISG Tamilnadu Chapter Annual Conference 2003 April, Trichy. Dr. L Venkatakrishnan has presented several papers in India Society of Gastroenterology & INASL Annual Conference. He has also participated in
